This activity kept my 7 year old busy for a while! I took baking soda and spread it across the bottom of a baking dish, and mixed 2-3 drops of food coloring (different container for each different colors) in with white vinegar, and let him use a dropper to squart the vinegar mixture and watch it fizz! In the words of my 7 year old “THIS IS SO COOL!”
